Cloud & DevOps Engineer · Full-Stack Developer
I'm Yassen Ashraf. I build modern web applications and the infrastructure and deployment workflows that bring them to life.

01About
I studied cyber security, and it still shapes how I look at systems: what's exposed, what can fail, and what happens when it does.
AWS training and my own projects pulled me toward cloud and DevOps. I kept building the web side too, from interfaces and APIs to applications running on a live domain.
Today I'm a DevOps & Frontend Developer at Royal Software Technology, working with an engineering team on CI/CD pipelines and frontend development. I also take on freelance web projects.
02Expertise
Skills marked with a dot appear in my public project code. The others are from my CV: training and earlier experience.
Defining AWS networking, databases, storage and monitoring as code.
Taking a commit through build, image and rollout automatically.
Applying a cyber security foundation to the systems I run.
Building interfaces and connecting them to APIs and data.

For larger projects that need more than one person, I work with other developers I collaborate with. Who covers what is agreed before work starts.

06Working with me
A focused project can stay with me from the first conversation to launch. For larger work, I collaborate with other developers and can take part in delivering the wider project.
A good fit for a focused website, a frontend build, a deployment or a CI/CD pipeline. You talk to the person doing the work.
A good fit for larger builds with several workstreams. Who covers what is agreed up front, so you know who's responsible for each part.
This is the approach I aim for. The exact steps are agreed for each project.
Start with your goal and what a good result looks like.
Agree on features, responsibilities and timing before building.
Share working progress along the way, not just a final reveal.
Set up domain and deployment, then hand over access.
We're independent developers who work together, not a registered agency. If something is outside what we can do well, I'll say so before we start.

Tell me what you're building or hiring for. Email is the fastest way to reach me, and a few lines is enough to start.
